The SALMIX® liquorice manufactory is the first port of call for liquorice pastille lovers, liquorice fans and those with a sweet tooth. Whether for snacking, cooking or baking, our liquorice products are always a hit. We are also open to special liquorice requests, please contact us.

In the past, the black, chewy mass was rolled out by hand on the kitchen table and dried in the oven. Back then, Mr and Mrs Caspar lived in Hamburg's St Pauli district. That was in 1949 and today the SALMIX® brand is a cult brand that is an integral part of the North. Even today, the SALMIX® diamond shaped pastille is produced in the factory in Sievershütten - according to the traditional family recipe - just as it was 70 years ago.

Whether your childhood memory is of the nice pharmacist, filling SALMIX® liquorice in a crackling bag or licking and sticking stars on your hand, we are all about delicious snacking. Liquorice has many fans, and the SALMIX® brand is becoming increasingly popular.
